Happy Holidays!!!

Well... the holidays are surely gone again! Josh and I had our "first" christmas as husband and wife... well I bought him silly dvds and he bought me workout clothes and slippers.. haha..perfect! Bronson got to play Santa and well, Maycee was just being adorable as usual. I just love the holidays but we were soo busy and had people over so much that I am ready for the weekend.. again...

I also got all my frames filled with our wedding pictures.. they are definatley like pieces of art to me. I love decorating with pictures..

The first two are in our living room and the big frame is above our bed... got 2 more to hang next to it but I broke a frame.. sooo.. oooh i love it!

it's an Ugly sweater kind of Christmas

Well, Ashly, one of my bff's, decided to throw an "ugly" christmas sweater party last weekend. It was hilarious to see all the crazy Christmas sweaters people actually buy to wear. It is definately a generational thing but nonetheless it was really interesting and funny but soo much fun!

Griffin Todd turns the big O-N-E

My good friend from high school, Ali, has the cutest baby boys ever! Well, today Josh and I went to Griffin's first birthday party! It was awesome to see him demolish his own banana shaped cake --it is shaped like a banana because his nickname is Monkey. His baby brother, Grady, was also in attendence, coming in at about 2 months old! It definately makes us excited for the day we can celebrate our kids birthdays with close friends and family!

This is Griffin after he finished his cake.. it was a mess but they were prepared... hence why he is almost naked!

This is by far the coolest gift of the day. MOmmy and DAddy are just going to loooove having this in the house! He looved it!

Turkey day & my 26th

So Thanksgiving never fails to fall right around my birthday. Well, that means that Thanksgiving is my absolute favortie holiday because I get to eat good food (now twice) and then I get presents!! Josh looooves Thanksgiving too so we now have mutual feelings for the day. However, it will always remain a love-hate relationship with our waistlines.

Old Girls at IU

Well, this was my 4th Old Girls weekend at IU. Feels like college was 10 years ago! This time the weather was awful, but I still scored a Tri and old girls won 27-10! That's right.. and IU girls team are supposed to be really good.. haha Later that night, after I convinced Katie to come down to IU with me, we went to Nick's, an old time favorite Bloomington establishment, and just hung out for the rest of the night. It was fun.. but I am definately getting too "old" to be a proactive old girl much longer! haha

Well, I am not sore **YEAH** but I think I am walking away from partying for a while.. just because I have big plans for 2009! Oh, my super awesome hubby stayed home and had surprises for me when I got home! It was great and he is wonderful, as always!

hot HOt and hotter in St. Lucia

Here are a few fun pictures from our honeymoon in St. Lucia. It was a blast but it was super HOT down there! But thankfully the water was great and the drinks were flowing.. soooo...

This is me scuba diving.. i had to dive as deep as i could to get completely underwater because our life jackets were super inflated!

Here is Josh scuba diving... it was super hard to get these pictures because of our masks but i was hilarious trying..

Here we are in the ocean with our resort right behind us.. the ocean water was super clear and felt really good in the HEAT that was the ISLANDS..

This waterfall was in our pool.. it was pretty cool and gave a ncie backdrop for some good pictures!

Cincy Weekend!

Nick and Christy are a couple we met on our honeymoon in St. Lucia. We hit it off and spent the whole week at the pool together or going to dinner then hanging out all night. They are both hilarious and great people. Well this past weekend we visited them in Cincy and they were super gracious hosts! They instantly gave us a glass of wine and once that got started, well I am sure you can imagine. They took us to this great strip of bars in Mount Adams and it was so much fun! They are definately going to be in our lives for a long time!!

It's a New Day!

Well it has been just over a month since the wedding and I already feel like it was years ago!! Josh and I are loving married life (which was not much different from our dating life but you know). We are settling in to our own independence as a married couple..

Our doggies, Bronson and Maycee, are just so happy mommy and daddy are official! haha

Anyway, I will be updating this blog just on our day to day so our family and friends can keep up with what we are up to. You never know what exciting things we might post...
