...7 weeks and counting...

Well, it's official! Josh and I are pregnant with our first child! I am just over 7 weeks along and I am feeling pretty good. Today was the first day I realized I was starting to show, just a tiny bit. My "chub" on my belly is now getting a little harder and not that muscle-y 6-pack hard but baby bell hard! It's wonderful and crazy all at the same time.

We aren't shouting it from the rooftops just yet but we are slowing telling people as we see them. Both our families are super excited and I know this child is going to be super spoiled... as the first grandbaby should!

Due date : September 13th, 2009.

Along with 2 other really good friends of mine, who are also due in September, this summer is going to be a big-bellied-momma event .. all summer long. And you better damn bet I will still in on the lake getting my tan on!

MUCH more to come..

Love, Josh and Lyds

aren't they friggin adorable

Here is proof how spoiled our doggies are..... I get up every morning way before Josh. They come out into the living room with me while I eat cereal and go potty. Then, before I get into the shower, I let them back into the bedroom, they crawl back under the covers with Josh, and go back to sleep. Little brats..
this is how I found them before I left the other morning.. mind you I got in and out of the bedroom several times in the morning.. making noise and turning on and off lights.. the ding dongs just watched me.. didnt move.. and took over the bed..
Josh is smushed out of the picture all the way to the left by Maycee..
What can we say.. we love them!!

New Years.. Mardi Gras style...

So a few of my friends decided we all wanted to "stay in" this year for NYE. SO Josh and I threw a Mardi Gras themed bash for about 10 people.. it was still a party needless to say. We rock in the new year with Jello shots (ewww.. strong).. crab dip.. face masks.. and of course.. KARAOKE! It was a perfect ending to a great year!

By the way.. the doggies were incredibly scared of our masks so we didnt keep them on long.. poor babies.. haha
