21 weeks

Well, after a loong week or so of having a stinking cold, I am finally feeling better and little JJ doesn't have to deal with my coughing every 5 seconds! haha So I am 21 weeks, 21 cm big and loving it. Being pregnant has certainly not been what I expected... easier actually and I am definately knocking on wood right now. Yes, I know I am only half way there and only half the battle is won soo I hope the rest will be as great as the beginning.

This weekend is finally a free weekend so Josh and I will hopefully get a jump start on cleaning out the office to transform it into the baby nursery!!!!!! wooooo

Dr Visit!

YEsterday I had another check-up and everything was perfect. I am measuring right at 21cm so I am right where I need to be. And although everyone seems concerned about my weight, I am perfectly on track. It is super easy for me to gain weight so when I found out I was pregnant, I was prepared for the weight I would easily gain.. which sucks but I am going to work super hard to get it off!

So this weekend was also Jennifer and Danny's wedding. It was so much fun but super exhausting. Jennifer looked beautiful and I looked super pregnant. But, the day was gorgeous and everything went super well. The party got a little crazy on the dance floor but that was to be expected... I can't wait to see all her pics from her photographer .. they should be beautiful.

20 weeks .. half way there!!

So I am 20 weeks now and Josh is saying "man, you are getting big". haha He loves me so much, doesnt he! Well, I am been fighting a killer cold this week and it really had knocked me out. Plus we were getting ready for Jennifer and Danny's wedding so I was busy busy busy! But baby JJ has done just fine and made it through, even though I am coughing about every 30 seconds! Hopefully this week I can just do a lot of resting!

Race for the Cure / Mom Turns 50!!!

This is all of us getting read for the race! Last year the weater was crazy yucky but Judy and I ran the race anyway and were soaked and frozes. This year, however, the weather was perfect... dry and a decent temp to say the least. About 2 miles into the race my hands started swelling .. awesome .. needless to say I was exhausted after ... probably shouldnt have done so much so fast haha

After the race, MOM had her momentous 50th birthday margarita party! We made a few different salsa for the party and DAd played bartender with margaritas all night long. IT was a fun night and I hope Mom enjoyed her awesome day!!

19 weeks oh BOY!

I am now 19 weeks preggy! My belly is developing the "dark line" which you can see on one of the pictures and it is getting plump! We are just so exciting to call IT a HIM now. I think Sunday we are hitting up Babies-R-Us and Pottery Barn Kids to start checking out nursery stuff! Things are going great for me!! Trying to keep my weight under control .. but it is hard when I am such a food and sweets lover!!!!

It is also my MOMS birthday.. 50th to be exact! We are having a HUGE party for her tomorrow in the ville.. cant wait!!

Tomorrow we are doing the RACE FOR THE CURE which will be awesome! The weather is going to be Sunny and warm so that is HUGE!

Well, Josh and I had my ultrasound this morning and we are having a BOY! I was super shocked because I was totally expecting it to be a girl but apparently Josh knew it was a boy. We are just THRILLED!!!! He is perfectly healthy up to this point and she showed us everything about him.. his brain and skull, his beating heart (150 bmp), his kidneys and then of course, his little dingy. I guess my due date is recording at my Dr. Hayes' office as September 11th.. sooo somewhere around there really! :)HE weighs 10oz and is 10inches long!! WHAT A BOY!!

I cant believe we actually know now! We have to start planning the nursery and picking out names! We are not going to tell anyone the name until he is born so it will be a surprise! But you are welcome to make suggestions!!

Hapy Easter!!!

So we were in NOblesville for Easter on this beautiful Sunday! It was still a bit windy and chilly but NO RAIN for Easter is rare!! So Mom cooked us a yummy yummy meal and of course, I got some fun baby stuff. Beth got baby bean a great stacker toy to play with about this time next year from Disney.. super cute and fun! and of course I got some more onsies, a baby bowl and some baby keys! And who can forget the wonderful Cadberry eggs! My fav thing this time of year.. I am sure the baby will looove it when I eat a couple later haha.

18 weeks ... 4 1/2 months!

Well I am at 18 weeks and just a few short days away from finding out if our baby is a girl or a boy! ooohh I just can't wait! Apprently I am starting to get a little swelling in my fingers and possibly my ankles, but nothing to cry about. Make sure to check the blog this coming Friday for the big announcement!!!!

onto week 17.....

And now as I enter my 17th week I definately feel like I am actually beginning to "show". It is nice. I am enjoying being pregnant but not so keen on the scale right now. So I get to find out the gender on Mom's birthday, April 17th. So basically that is all I can think about right now and also how obsessed I am with my Twilight series books.. pathetic.. but I just need to get through them to get over them haha

*heartbeat is STRONG*

Well, I had my 16 week appt yesterday and everything went great. Mom went with me because Josh had work obligations. So she got to hear the heartbeat and it was super fast ... I took a video on my phone but I don't know how to get it on here so sorry.

But we set the ultrasound date for April 17th and we are soo estatic!!It is also my moms 50TH birthday that day so that is a double whammy!!!!
