29 weeks

First of all, this is how Archie likes to play with Bronson.. but B is a good sport and takes it.. mostly! haha They are hilarious to watch ! :)

Well, I am 29 weeks along and have about 11 weeks to go! This time is just completly flying by. He is going to be here sooner than we realize!!! I can't wait to get my figure back.. if that is what I used to call it haha. But he is moving constantly. I have no idea how he is positioned by he pushes on my belly a lot, not so much kicking but a constant pressure for a few seconds or so. It is funny to watch him from the outsite.

I did some more registering at babies-r-us today.. I have no idea what I absolutely need so of course I put anything and everything there! haha We are at Target too but that one is much smaller!

Anyhoo Josh and I are exercising more and I am trying to watch the amount of food I eat more. Hopefully that will give me the energy to pop this child out! : )

29 week checkup

So today was my 29 week checkup. My blood pressure was great and the baby's heart rate was normal as well. HOwever, I was mearsuring a bit on the big side, 34 cm to be exact. I am supposed to be at 29cm. So, Dr Hayes did not seem worried but said we will re-measure me on July 6th and if I am still measuring big then we will have another ultrasound to see what is up. She was guessing that baby JJ was just positioned in a way that he was pushing my uterus a little more than he normally would. Or he is just measuring big.

Nothing to freak out about. We will just have to be patient and see. I also had my glucose screening today so I should hear back something by tomorrow. No news is good news concerning that.

So we will keep you all updated with more specifics as we get them!

Baby Dresser!!!

Well, Granny and Papa Gross got baby JJ a new dresser for his room! It goes with the crib and it is awesome! I tried to put only newborn stuff in there and some blankets but it seems we don't have as much new born clothing as I thought.. might need to work on that ; ) Now it just needs filled with dipers and wipes bc it is the changing table too! We love it! :)

Archie meets the big doggies

Archie got to hang out with Bronson and Maycee twice now and they have a ball together. Archie is just soo tiny right now and Maycee looks like she could be his mommy haha. Bronson though has the most fun with him... he likes to put Arhchie's head in his mouth.. just playing around though! They will be the bestest cousin friends ever!

3rd Trimester~

Who wants to paint my belly!?

Well, I am offically into my 3rd trimester and have 12 weeks to go ( I am 28 weeks along)! PHEW this pregnancy is just flying by! Good thing we have the room started and will be finished in a couple weeks! I am feeling great just not sleeping that well. I have started to sleep in the recliner so I am more comphy.. it is working ok but still not great. Baby beany is moving all the time and I wonder where he thinks he is going... haha

I have a DR appt on wednesday and I will have my glucose test done. I will keep everyone updated on how that goes. From here on out I will have an appt. every 2 weeks until the final month and then every week to check for dialation.. ooh what fun.

PS Congrats to Amanda and Frank for joining the parents-to-be club! I know how exciting it is and we couldnt be more thrilled for you both!!

Baby Room Update!

Well, Ashly finally was able to come over and paint our wonderful Safari tree on baby JJ's wall! It turned out perfect and completely makes the room more special! He will just love it! We are getting our dresser this weekend and then hopefully getting some pictures on the wall and voila.. baby room will turn into a safari-fied nursey!

Meet ARCHIE!!!

Jennifer and Danny finally decided it was time for a new addition to their family.. sooo.. they adopted cute little ARCHIE! He is a jack russel terrior and beagle mix. ADORABLE!! The pictures don't even do him justice!! Can't wait for him to meet Bronny and Maycee.. that will be interesting!!

Jay & Maree are ENGAGED!!!

So one of our best men from our wedding is finally settling down with the most fun girl ever! Jay was friends with me I think sometime during sophomore year during college and then met Josh shortly after. Well, then Josh and I met and started dating and then realized about our crazy mutual friend and voila! He is the funniest person we know and couldn't have found a better match! Maree is gorgeous and awesome and we cant wait for their wedding! Josh is a groomsmen and I won't be pregnant so it will be sooo much fun!!

On another note, Jay's newphew, Parker, is the cutest, funniest little guy I have met so far! Well he was playing on his jumparoo and trying his best NOT to fall asleep.. he failed. Here are the pics to prove it!

27 weeks**

Well I have about 13 weeks to go.. I just know it is going to fly by! I am trying to enjoy it but I am just soo excited! We are really going hard with getting the house ready for the baby.. mainly going through our clutter and getting the nursery ready!! I am feeling im move all the time! However, I am super umcomfortable when I sleep now so I am tossing and turning quite a lot. But otherwise I feel great! I have my next Dr appt in about 2 weeks...

This weekend our good friend Jay and his fiance Maree are coming into town to celebrate their engagement! We are super excited to see them .. we miss them soo much bc they live super far away!!

paint, crib and bedding OH MY!

Well, we finally got started on the baby room and the guest room. Since we picked a safari theme for the baby room, we decided to paint the walls a "butter pecan" color. It actually turned out wonderful and matched the bedding perfect. However, it took us over 3 coats for some stupid reason to cover the existing tan haha but we got it finished.

After .. not a huge difference but it really brightened up the room. and then of course we got our crib (thanks to MOM and DAD) and the bedding so we are well on our way for the nursery!!!
We also are re-doing the guest room. It was an awful salmony color before.. horribly ugly. So now we decided to paint the room grey and turn it into our IU room. Mom and Katie basically did the entire room in just a few hours, mainly bc we were smart enough to use primer in this room haha. Thanks mom and Kate... we really appreciated your help! We are going to paint the trim as well, for a nice finishing touch!

26 weeks <3

So I am now 26 weeks and getting bigger. My belly is constantly moving and baby JJ is moving a lot! We are almost able to see him moving from the outside but not just yet. He is getting soooo big. We finally cleared out the office and guest room to start painting and turning the rooms into a nursery and our new IU themed guest room/office. It will be awesome once it is all finished. We are also reorganzing almost every crevis of our house.. laundry room, linen closet, under the bathroom sink... everywhere! We have to make better use of every square inch of this house to make room for everything baby! It is going really great soo far! I will be sure to post a before and after picture on both rooms!! Feeling goood ps! :)
