ready, set, Induce me! :)

Sooo just in case Baby Gross decides he is not ready to come out before his due date, Dr Hayes has decided to go ahead and set up an time to induce me shortly after. So... if we do not see him before then, I will be induced on Saturday, Sept 12th at 7pm. He will most likely be born sometime on Sunday, the 13th...

So, like Kate said.. the end is in sight and we will definately see him no later than 2 weeks from this weekend!!

ahhh.. can breath a bit better knowing that!!

.... but I still hope he comes before then ; ) I wanna snuggle my little guy!

Nursery Update

So we have been trying to get things placed in the nursery so when baby Gross comes, we will be ready.. mostly. He will sleep in our room for a little while but mainly we will nap him and change him and dress him in his nursery! Soo.. here are some updated pictures. We really love the theme we chose and were pleasantly surprised to find out how easy it is to get extra little decorative things for it. For now, we are just waiting on our toy chest and bookcase from my PaPa which is still in the making! :) Enjoy.. we love it!





ps.. I also put a cross in his room that is from the Vatican in Rome. I bought it over there to protect me while I slept and now it will protect him.

37wks playing the waiting game

So I am 37 weeks and my little sister thought it would be funny to show my picture now compared to me earllier on in the infamous red shirt... so here they are!! haha hilarious I know!

Sometime in my first trimester compared to now haha... big bellied mama!!


So baby Gross is dropping lower and lower each day and we are anxoiusly awaiting for him to be ready to come meet us!! My next dr appt is Wed soo maybe after this weekend I will have made some better progress!! ; )

weekly appt

So I had my almost 37 week chec-up today. No dialation but I am 50% efaced, which means my cervix is thinning out. So maybe by next week we will have made a little bit mroe progress but everything else is perfect. We went down an inch in measurement because he is head down and dropping, which is wonderful!!!! She felt around on my belly to help me figure out which body parts I feel all the time... i feel his butt in my ribs and his feet in the middle of my belly ALL the time. Basically he is head down, butt up and legs tucked kinda to the side because he has noo room to strectch out any more!

Next Wed is my next appt! More to come ; )

We are almost there....

36 wks and kicking

So I am just over 36 weeks and again had another wonderful, eventful weekend. My in-laws threw me a great baby shower in Knighstown and the usual crew was there. I got the rest of my nursery collection along with some more cute outfits and other goodies. All in all, this baby is ready to come home and has everything he needs! Thanks to Aunt Debbie, Jennifer and Nancy for throwing me a great shower! Now ALL the attention can go to my little guy instead of me from now on! haha
Sunday was spent trying to get things together and set to finish up the baby room. We also hung some new pics of our first babies so they won't feel left out when baby gross comes haha.

We have our next Dr appt on Wednesday and Dr Hayes is going to check me for any dialation or progression to see if this little guy is starting to ready himself for birth!! CANT WAIT! :) Just enjoying the pelvic/hip pain, swollen feet and exhaustion... but I am a trooper haha

fun at 35 weeks!!

Well I am over 35 weeks along and it was one busy weekend!! We had a couple's shower at our house so we could have all our friends get together before the baby comes! It was so much fun but phew was it hot outside! We of course got some more wonderful gifts.. we have amazing friends! Thanks Katie, Ashly and Kaitlin for putting that together for us!

On Sunday, work also had a shower for me. We got our stroller system which is AMAZING and very much appreciated! We also go out boppy and some other fun goodies as well. This weekend was amazing and JOsh and I feel so blessed to have so many people excited to welcome our little guy into the world.... 4 more weeks!!

Today we had our dr appt... once a week from now on out. We are measuring at 39 weeks and the baby's heartrate was in the 150's because he was moving and groov'n. haha So the baby could really come any day now but we are really hoping for atleast one more solid week of growth.. i will deal with the swelling, lack of sleep and back pain and long as he is healthy!!

However, we are finally prepared to welcome him into the world, now that we have a carseat to bring him on in haha
