Happy Valentine's Day!

Karsen's first Valentine's day! Oh and he wants the world to know it is time for summer already! :)

5 months!

We just can not believe Karsen is 5 months old! He amazes us each and every day and we just love to make him smile! We are so blessed to be able to capture these moments with him and that he actually does not mind a camera in his face all the time haha...

workshop

So I took a photography workshop over the weekend and wanted to try to figure out if what I was taught absorbed into my brain.. haha.. I think I need more practice but here are some shots.....

I am becoming soo obsessed with taking pictures of Karsen.. the more I take the more I learn about better ways to shoot. I am going to a workhop tomorrow with a fantasic and inspirational photographer (kiera dubach!) and i cant wait to see what i learn! Enjoy

Hand Lover

Karsen is in love with his own hands.. here is the proof. However, he has also learned to read and eat all his toys! :)

Chop chop!

So Karsen had an insanely long locks since he was born. I never knew a baby could have this much hair. So, when it finally became a little too white-trash (rat tail) for us, we decided to get it trimmed. So, at 4.5 months old, Karsen received his very first haircut! Thanks Tiffany for doing such a great job!

He also had to get in some good quality Daddy time! :)

Baby Food!!!

So we were finally able to start Karsen on real food. After his 4 month check up -- he weighs 15lbs 14 oz and is 24.75 inches long - we were able to try it out! He actually found it quite funny when Mommy says 'ahhh' so he will open his mouth but after about the 3rd time, he actually started swallowing the food instead of spitting it out!! Another momentous occasion in the Gross household! Another milestone came and gone too quickly.. ; )

oh yea.. he loove the cold diet mountain dew bottle.. just like his mommy!

So Karsen's bedtime routine is bath, bottle, snuggle, bed time! So, I thought I would post a few pictures.. Enjoy!

Welcome to 2010!

Well another year has flown by and so much has change my our lives.. Exactly 1 year to the day that Karsen turns 4 months old, we found out we were pregnant! We wanted to try to have children right away and we were so blessed it happened so quickly for us! After what seemed like a never ending pregnancy, through one hot summer and 75lbs, Karsen finally arrived and we are just taken over with the love we share for him. Josh and I can't go through the day without just smiling at him, kissing him and constantly wanting to be around him. He is adorable and just a happy baby.

His next appt is in 2 weeks and we are guessing over 15lbs.. haha
